Iron County is where we're headquartered and where we do the majority of our Utah work. The county stretches from the high-desert valley floor around Cedar City all the way up to Brian Head at nearly 9,800 ft, and we've worked roofs across that entire range — from older homes in Parowan's historic district, to new construction in Enoch, to mountain cabins at Brian Head, to ranches and outbuildings in the smaller communities.
Different parts of Iron County have different roofing realities. Cedar City and Enoch behave like a high-desert valley — UV, wind, occasional snow. Parowan and Paragonah sit a bit higher and get more snow. Brian Head is a different climate altogether — full mountain, deep snow, freeze-thaw, and short installation windows. We adjust the spec, the underlayment, and the timeline accordingly for each part of the county.
Because we're local, we know which parts of the county get hit hardest in a given storm, where the trickier permitting offices are, and which neighborhoods have the older roofs that are due. That local knowledge is hard to fake from out of state.
Iron County spans roughly 5,500 ft (Newcastle area) to nearly 9,800 ft (Brian Head). That means everything from high-desert UV and wind to subalpine snow loads and a short summer installation window in the high country. We treat each part of the county as its own micro-climate when we spec a roof.
Roofs at Brian Head see some of the heaviest snow accumulation in our service area. Steeper pitches, snow guards (where appropriate), and serious ice-and-water shield coverage are standard.
Same high-desert pattern — UV degradation, wind-lifted shingles, ice damming on north-facing slopes after winter storms.
Slightly higher elevation and a different exposure to weather coming off the Markagunt Plateau means more snow load and more ice-dam risk than Cedar City proper.
Less common than in Nebraska but real in Iron County during summer monsoon storms — and easy to miss without an inspection.
Iron County is our backyard. We respond to leaks across the county as quickly as crew availability allows — typically same day or next business day in Cedar City and Enoch, and within a few days in the more remote communities.
All of them. Cedar City, Enoch, Parowan, Paragonah, Kanarraville, Brian Head, Newcastle, Summit, and the rural areas in between are all within our normal service area.
Yes. Brian Head is part of Iron County and well within our service area. Mountain installs require a tighter weather window — we schedule them carefully and use materials and underlayments rated for the elevation.
We do commercial work across the county. Reach out and we'll discuss whether your specific building is a fit for our crew and material capabilities.
Where permits are required for roof work, we coordinate the permitting and inspection process with the relevant local building department.
